Shorter forms. A head start on your next appeal. Gifts you can review.
The latest September updates bring questions that appear only when needed, one-click form copying, and more control over how gifts arrive in Raiser's Edge NXT. You'll find the earlier September updates below, too.
Ask only what applies
A donor who isn't dedicating their gift shouldn't have to skip six dedication questions. Now a custom question, or a whole section, can wait until an earlier answer calls for it. Tick “I'd like to dedicate this gift” and the dedication questions appear. Choose “In Memory of” and you can ask whether to notify the family, then ask for their address only if the donor says yes.
Set up each question in the form editor with one condition based on another answer. Required follow-ups are required only when shown. Hidden questions never block checkout, and answers from a path the donor leaves behind aren't saved with the gift. These choices apply to the custom questions in your form sections, not payment options or the gift amount.

Copy a giving form in one click. Its settings, sections in order, chosen funds and receipt come with it. The copy gets its own embed code, ready to change for your next appeal without touching the live form. Gifts, campaigns and reports stay with the original; the copy starts with no history.

Review before posting. Choose daily gift batches for staff to review, approve and post in Raiser's Edge NXT. Live posting is still the default, and event-ticket checkouts still post live even with batching on. Form details are added after approval, with a possible short delay. Monthly payments wait until the donor's recurring gift has been approved, then link to it.
An appeal and package for each fund. Each fund on your form can carry its own campaign, appeal and package from your existing Raiser's Edge NXT lists. A fund without its own appeal still uses the tracking link's appeal or your default.
Answers that belong to this gift. Send a honoree's name, dedication message or engraving wording to existing gift custom fields instead of the donor's record. This does not create Raiser's Edge tribute records or acknowledgees.

Your gifts land in Blackbaud on their own
Connect Raiser's Edge NXT or Blackbaud CRM. Gifts reach donor records as they happen by default. We look for an existing donor first, carry over split gifts and recurring commitments, and register ticket buyers on existing events.
Bring your fund list and event tickets onto your giving forms without retyping them. You can see what was sent to your CRM, and you choose whether gifts enter the general ledger posting queue or update matched donors — both settings are off by default.

US nonprofits can now run a DAF-only account without connecting Stripe or accepting card payments. These forms take one-time gifts only, subject to our 2% platform fee, plus any fee Chariot charges. If you decide to accept cards later, connect Stripe without rebuilding your forms.

Add your own message to donation receipts and your recurring-gift management page. You can also choose the landing page for “manage my gift” links, so donors with older emails still reach the right place after you redesign your giving pages.
